Maggie

Hi! My name is Maggie. I am a transplanted Yankee living Houston, Texas for over 40 years. I’m a single mom with 2 grown daughters and 4 awesome grandchildren, the youngest who will be a Senior in High School next year. I’m also “mom” to 4 furbabies who rule the roost -Paisley, Maggie Mae, Corey, and Casper who are the inspiration for my Stamp Haven and blog - Maggie’s Cat House. I also have a few outside kitties that I love and take care of.

My mom taught me the love of crafting with thread and needles as I was growing up, but then I started paper crafting about 1999 with scrapbooking but then one of my daughters introduced me to rubber stamping. I love all things creative, but there’s only time for so much especially with a full time job and making cards took over my life. I love a challenge and have seen my style evolve over the years and have enjoyed learning so many different techniques. My passion right now is Copic markers and coloring with pencils.

I started my blog in 2011to showcase my cards. I’ve been on a few Design Teams since then and now I’m so excited to be a part of the Creatalious Design Team.

Quite a few prices of the past challenges hadn't been collected, even though I left a comment at the winners blog... I can't understand this - don't you want to win any prices?!? We are a small creative team writing and illustrating fantasy adventure and children's books. We love to draw fun and amusing characters, and are happy to offer them to you as digital stamps. We hope you like these digital images and they help make your creations bright, interesting and memorable!

I have been making cards and working with paper crafts for over 15 years. I like a variety of styles and to try new things whenever possible. I especially love paper and ribbons and cannot resist anything new in the stores. I live in South Carolina and recently retired so I have plenty of time to create whenever I wish.

I am mother of two adult children, married to a wonderful man, Theo our cat. We live in the country. I work as a language teacher at the high school. I share my spare time between family, the garden- my herbs and scrapbooking. I started scrapping and DT 2010 since then I have been in many wonderful DT's. Now I hope I can get the chance to bring some inspiration to Creatalicious.
